SV: Void poll

Hmmm. I tried posting this poll in eat_crow, but for some reason I can't get it to post there. Damn! You should go over there and check out my entry, though, because I made a list of all the "Void" episode reviews I could find and posted them there, trying to give a little life to that community.

But do take my poll! Behind the cut, because it's spoilery for "Void."

I'm pretty sure you can only post polls if the community is paid, so that's probably your problem.

Ohhh! Ok, since I never posted a poll before I thought it was something I was doing wrong.

Hmm. I wonder if my desire to try to revive that community is strong enough to shell out money to make it a paid community.

And btw, I haven't seen the episode -- otherwise I would fill out your poll. :-)

Are you a non-watcher, at this point, or are you just behind on episodes?

A little bit of both. I'll watch when most people say it's a good ep (a lot of Lex), but if everyone is meh, I'll just wait till next week.

Well, you should definitely try to watch at least the Lex-Lillian scene from this episode.

My personal favourite moment was Lex's 'that's the thing about expensive cars...'

Oh, that's a good one too!

Hee! I'm so excited that people are filling out my poll, even though it's cut-tagged. And right now Mionel is doing very well, which is fun for me.

I just checked back in, and I see the result's going pretty much exactly the way I voted! The poll was fun. You should make it a regular feature! ;)

I saw Lex/Lana's visions as projections, and Clark's vision some alien physiology inspired connection to a space beyond death some would call heaven.

Oy. Wordier than I planned. *g*

Oh, yes, that's a good point--not all the visions are necessarily the same.

I voted real, but I didn't think all visions were real. Just Clark and Lex's. Lana's felt like she was seing what she wanted to see, whereas actual info (Jonathon dying fighting Lionel, Lionel knowing the secret, black glove) was exchanged during the more epic scenes with the boys.

Lana's was total wish fulfillment though

It would have to be reverse wish fulfillment, though, right? Because she didn't actually *get* to have the conversation with her parents that she wanted.

I think the visions were real. Or at least I think the writers wanted it to come across that they were real. Sorry I can't be intelligent and back myself up, lol.

Lexana, excited about it. Mionel, WAY too soon. Like seriously, Jonathan just died, what, 6 episodes ago? C'mon Martha...

Well, the fact that Clark and Lex received info that they didn't know before in the visions seems to be a good argument for the visions being real (though latxcvi made a good argument to explain that in the comments on this post: http://norwich36.livejournal.com/33439.html
